1. Nature of Platform
Lawbayonet.com (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates as a service provider and aggregator platform that also functions as a service regulator. Our paramount objective is the satisfactory delivery of services to every client.
We are a purely paralegal support service. We do not provide client‑advocate services and do not undertake courtroom representation. Our role is limited to paralegal assistance, documentation, consultation, and support.
At present, we operate only within the Greater Mumbai region, which includes Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban, Thane Urban, Mira Bhayander, and Navi Mumbai.
2. Service Commitment
- We provide paralegal services including consultation, drafting, mediation, negotiation, documentation, and allied support.
- Each service is designed to deliver practical, on‑ground solutions that simplify legal journeys.
- Client satisfaction is central, and services are delivered with professional integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
3. Payment Structure
- All payments are released stage‑wise and controlled directly by clients, ensuring transparency and minimizing disputes.
- Clients are never required to pay the full amount upfront.
- Each stage will contain its own specific terms and conditions, shared before commencement.
4. Token Payment & Initial Engagement
- The initial token payment is the first step towards connecting with a paralegal expert.
- After booking, clients will undergo a detailed discussion with our team.
- Following this, a comprehensive timeline and stage‑wise fee structure will be provided.
5. Refund Policy
- Until the stage of receiving the timeline and fee details, clients may request a refund of the initial booking amount.
- A nominal administrative fee of ₹199 will be deducted, and the remaining amount refunded.
- Once the stage‑wise plan is approved, payments will be released step by step as per the agreed service structure.
6. Confidentiality
- All information, documents, and discussions are treated as strictly confidential.
- We adhere to professional standards of privacy and discretion in line with applicable laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
- While we strive to provide accurate and effective solutions, we do not guarantee specific outcomes in legal proceedings.
- Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific stage of service.
- We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
8. Client Responsibilities
- Clients must provide accurate and complete information to enable effective service delivery.
- Any delay or misrepresentation by the client may affect timelines and outcomes.
- Clients are responsible for timely release of stage‑wise payments.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration.
- The seat of arbitration shall be Mumbai, and the law applicable shall be Indian law under Mumbai jurisdiction.
- Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended).
10. Amendments
- These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law or service practices.
